TrackRage is a racing game built in Unreal Engine 5, and this site is the part of it that remembers. Accounts, profiles, statistics, verified records and leaderboards live here; the driving lives in the game.

Why the records are checked

A leaderboard is only worth climbing if the times on it are real. The game client runs on machines we do not control, so nothing it reports is taken at face value. Every race is opened as a session on the server before it starts, and the result that comes back is checked against that session: the lap and sector times have to be internally consistent, physically plausible for the track, and to fit inside the window the session was actually open for.

Runs that fail those checks are rejected. Runs that are merely surprising are held for review and count for nothing until a person looks at them — and the player can always see that this happened, and why.

What the game never decides

Current state

The platform is under active development. Accounts, profiles, nicknames, statistics, records, leaderboards and the game integration are in place; friends, seasons and deeper competitive-integrity work are planned.
